Slip and fall inspections

Our firm is representing a woman who fell at a restaurant in Bergen County. I conducted an expert inspection today with a professional engineer and a member of our staff to find out more information on the cause of the accident. We took numerous photographs of the scene and our expert measured the co-efficient of friction. It is very important to document as soon as you can the potential causes of a slip and fall accident. If you have any witnesses make sure they provide a detailed summary of what they saw. Also many times the store will have surveillance cameras and you should ask that they preserve any tapes of the actual accident.
